Melbourne best city to live in Damascus and the worst



ملبورن أفضل مدينة للعيش ودمشق الأسوأ



The Australian city of Melbourne topped the list of the best cities in the world which can be enjoyed by the living, and for the fourth year in a row, while prompted unrest in the Middle East, Ukraine and other cities to its tail.

According to a survey for the unity of the information of the British magazine The Economist, the Vienna (Austria), Vancouver and Toronto (Canada) respectively occupied the centers of the second, third and fourth in the list of 140 cities published Tuesday.

The last came in the Syrian capital Damascus-based war-torn, and directly preceded ranked Dhaka in Bangladesh and Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea and Lagos in Nigeria.

The Economist poll also included a list of cities which have fallen degree 'suitability to live' where a lot during the past five years.

And considered Damascus again the worst recorded a decline of 28% over five years, but the other cities on the list saw a decline as well, including the cities Alrusitan St. Petersburg and Moscow, has declined each rose 3.3%, while the fallen Sophia 3.5%, and Athens by 3.7% .

The poll found that the Ukrainian capital Kiev -hat fighting separatists loyal to Russia, Ukrainian troops in eastern Albulad- fell by 17.8% and was ranked 124 in the list.

Being this poll assessment of the extent of 'suitability to live in cities' based on a number of key factors, including the stability and quality of health care, culture and environment, education and infrastructure.
